  • Title Companies, Closing Agents, and Attorneys. When transacting on a property, with your consent.
  • Investors and Buyers. If you enter into a purchase contract, we may assign that contract to an end buyer (see Real Estate Disclaimer). We share only what is necessary to complete the transaction.
  • Legal Compliance. When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights or others' safety.
  • Business Transfer. If Transition Properties is sold or merged, your information may transfer to the successor entity.
SMS opt-in data and consent records are never shared, sold, or transferred outside Transition Properties for any purpose. See Part B, section 8 below.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Communication records (calls, texts, emails) are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years for tax, accounting, and legal compliance purposes.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)

SMS Terms & Consent

1. SMS Program Overview

Transition Properties LLC operates an SMS communications program for individuals who have opted in to receive text messages regarding the potential purchase of their real property. This section governs that program and is the dedicated reference for any SMS-related compliance question.

2. Consent

Transition Properties may send SMS/text messages to individuals who have provided prior express written consent through one of the following methods: (1) submitting a contact form on transitionfl.com, (2) providing verbal consent during a phone conversation, or (3) replying affirmatively to an outreach message.

Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

3. Message Types & Frequency

You may receive messages including:

  • Follow-up regarding your property inquiry
  • Scheduling and confirmation of property walkthroughs
  • Cash offer details and updates
  • Purchase agreement and closing coordination
  • Transaction status updates

Message frequency varies based on engagement, typically 1–5 messages per week during active conversations and reduces significantly outside of active engagement periods.

4. Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Transition Properties does not charge for any messages we send.

5. Opt-Out (STOP)

To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After opting out, you will receive no further messages unless you re-subscribe by replying START or providing fresh consent.

This program is supported on major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, U.S. Cellular, Boost, MetroPCS, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You must be 18 or older and the legal owner (or authorized representative of the owner) of the property being discussed to participate. Transition Properties reserves the right to modify or terminate this SMS program at any time without notice.

8. No Sharing of SMS Data

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for any purpose, including marketing or promotional purposes. This includes affiliates, vendors, and partners. SMS opt-in data and consent records are never shared, sold, or transferred outside Transition Properties.
